Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance protocols for 2026-era AI systems
- Lead cross-functional research on bias mitigation in neural networks
- Collaborate with policymakers on AI regulatory frameworks
- Develop transparency standards for explainable AI (XAI) models
- Conduct audits of AI deployment systems for ethical compliance
- Mentor junior researchers in responsible AI methodologies
- Present findings at global AI ethics summits and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field
- 8+ years experience in AI ethics or responsible tech research
- Published work on algorithmic bias or explainable AI
- Expertise in EU AI Act and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Strong background in quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Experience working with autonomous systems or LLMs
- Proven ability to translate complex ethics concepts for technical teams
- Active participation in ACM/IEEE ethics initiatives preferred
