Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, AGI) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budgets
- Present strategic forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA innovation labs
- Manage patent portfolios and IP strategy for future tech
- Mentor a team of 5 futurist researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience with scenario planning for 5+ year horizons
- Track record of launching disruptive tech products
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Clearance for government R&D projects preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic a plus
