Responsibilities
- Develop quantitative forecasts for emerging technologies and societal trends through 2030
- Construct scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and market volatility analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic insights
- Produce annual Horizon Scanning reports for executive leadership and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize innovation investments based on future opportunity mapping
- Monitor global signals (tech, climate, policy) using proprietary AI-powered trend analysis tools
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend extrapolation methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI-driven analytics platforms
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executive narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact in previous roles
