Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's 2026 innovation framework, anticipating disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify future opportunities and mitigate risks
- Create scenario-based strategic plans for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer breakthrough solutions
- Present findings to executive leadership and board members with actionable recommendations
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Monitor global trend indicators and regulatory landscapes affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, biotech convergence, sustainable systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CFIP) or equivalent experience
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or high-growth environments
