Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks for quantum computing integration and AI ethics
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping 2026-era technologies (neuromorphic interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Conduct annual horizon scanning reports on geopolitical, economic, and tech disruptors
- Design patent-pending methodologies for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Forge strategic alliances with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists using our proprietary TrendMatrix platform
- Present quarterly strategic briefings to the board and executive leadership
Qualifications
- PhD in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (patents or acquisitions)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech landscapes
- Certification in AI ethics frameworks (IEEE, EU AI Act)
- Prior experience briefing Fortune 500 executives on long-term tech strategy
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or Julia preferred)
- Published research in Nature Futures or similar peer-reviewed futurist journals
