Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework with quarterly updates and scenario planning
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into R&D roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings and white papers on disruptive forces shaping 2026 business landscapes
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future market demands
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist forums and industry conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend impact analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight implementations
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent professional designation
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, Causal Layered Analysis)
