Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-driven narratives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-readiness initiatives
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable roadmaps
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Advise on R&D prioritization for next-generation product development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi method)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: Web3, generative AI, neurotech, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios
- Experience working with executive leadership in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
