- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and synthesize actionable insights for executive decision-making
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market evolution
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to prepare for disruptive future states
- Partner with R&D teams to identify emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Present future outlooks to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Establish innovation ecosystems with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published thought leadership in future trends or innovation strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
