Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological disruptions
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging market opportunities
- Present futuristic scenarios to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Oversee cross-functional innovation labs for prototyping next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and R&D partners
- Drive cultural transformation to embed future-readiness across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of forecasting technological disruptions (2015-2025 validation)
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic roadmapping methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry publications
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
