Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across tech, policy, and societal trends to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop and present strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate resilience)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Design scenario-planning models to test organizational resilience against future disruptions
- Present future-state recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Curate thought leadership content and speak at industry foresight conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build a strategic foresight framework
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record developing long-term strategic frameworks beyond 5-year horizons
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategy, Technology, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: AGI, biotech, climate tech, and Web3 ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
