Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze technology trends impacting 2026 landscapes (AI ethics, quantum applications, neurotech)
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies into core business functions
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' workshops with engineering, marketing, and product teams
- Present disruption risk assessments and innovation opportunities to executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early-stage tech adoption
- Author quarterly trend briefings influencing $50M+ R&D budget allocations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record developing tech roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech strategy (patents, journals, keynotes)
- MSc/PhD in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field
