Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify high-impact opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic models for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-state roadmaps
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with actionable recommendations for R&D and investment teams
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future concepts into compelling narratives for internal stakeholders
- Advise on emerging risks and ethical implications of exponential technologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven ability to translate foresight into executable business strategies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for C-suite presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
