Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal trends to develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on disruptive innovations
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable recommendations for product development
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions using quantum/AI/AR technologies
- Establish cross-functional innovation pipelines for 2026 market readiness
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven expertise in forecasting AI, biotech, or quantum computing trajectories
- Published thought leadership on societal impact of exponential technologies
- Advanced proficiency in futures research tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method)
- Experience guiding C-suite through disruptive market transitions
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
