Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Partner with executive leadership to integrate foresight insights into corporate strategy and decision-making
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present compelling future outlooks to stakeholders through executive briefings and strategic workshops
- Drive innovation labs to prototype and validate future-facing business models
- Author annual '2026 Horizon Report' synthesizing global trends and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating previous foresight projects and strategic impact
