Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ global innovation ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios
- Author quarterly 'FutureState' briefings for C-suite and board members
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and biotech applications
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on joint research initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Published work in peer-reviewed futures studies journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech, or AGI safety
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell Two Loops, Delphi Method)
- Proven track record of influencing product roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-strategy initiatives
