Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts relevant to 2026-2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for organizational innovation pipelines
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Build and lead a cross-disciplinary futurist task force
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology impacts
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, climate tech, or neurotech
- Proven ability to translate complex scenarios into executable strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist research or strategic frameworks
