Responsibilities
- Architect scalable solutions for 2026-era challenges including quantum-integrated systems and AGI frameworks
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing prototypes for climate-resilient infrastructure and neural interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year implementation windows
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and quantum-encrypted data ecosystems
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Collaborate with DARPA and NASA on next-gen space exploration technologies
- Manage $10M+ R&D budgets for future-proofing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Futurist Studies with 10+ years experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on exponential technologies
- Expertise in quantum computing architecture, AGI alignment, and bio-digital convergence
- Proven track record of implementing technologies with 5+ year adoption cycles
- Security clearance for national innovation projects (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with scenario planning for 2026+ geopolitical and climate scenarios
- Fluency in Python, Qiskit, and emerging AI frameworks
