Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive opportunities and threats for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for market evolution and technology adoption curves
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present actionable foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Author thought leadership on future trends and their business implications
- Mentor R&D teams in translating foresight into viable product roadmaps
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling with executive presentation skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, CFP) preferred
- Experience with venture capital or corporate innovation labs
