Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for future-proofing product portfolios and business models
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive future scenarios
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to capture frontier research
- Present foresight findings to stakeholders through compelling executive narratives and visualizations
- Mentor innovation teams on future-oriented design thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience with futures research tools (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact analysis)
