Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional labs in quantum AI, synthetic biology, and climate tech domains
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-proofing into corporate strategy
- Curate and host thought leadership summits with industry futurists and policy influencers
- Translate complex emerging technologies into actionable business opportunities
- Build patent portfolios and IP strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor next-gen futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services post-2020
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, biotech, or climate AI
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ tech trends
- Experience securing $5M+ budgets for moonshot initiatives
- Deep network ties with DARPA, NASA, or World Economic Forum innovation circles
- Mastery of foresight tools: Delphi, SWOT, and causal layered analysis
