Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technological, societal, and market trends through horizon scanning and data modeling
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for innovation initiatives aligned with 2026+ industry projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing long-term strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains: AI, Web3, biotech, climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation strategy implementations
- Certification in Foresight, Design Thinking, or Innovation Management (preferred)
