Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead research in quantum machine learning architectures for autonomous systems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for industrial deployment
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $10M+ in government/industry grants for frontier quantum-AI initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, VQE) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane) and high-performance Python
- Published record in quantum machine learning or quantum supremacy demonstrations
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ) and superconducting qubits
- Strong track record of securing competitive research grants and patents
