Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and materials science
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementations at scale
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Author white papers on quantum security implications for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor quantum software engineers in algorithm development
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit systems
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Strong track record of leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
