Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in quantum algorithm development
- Develop error-correction frameworks for quantum systems achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Create quantum-classical hybrid computing interfaces for enterprise applications
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and simulation technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with demonstrated fault-tolerance implementations
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into executable roadmaps
- Certification in quantum security architecture (preferred)
