You'll lead a cross-disciplinary team of physicists, engineers, and data scientists to prototype, test, and deploy quantum algorithms that solve previously impossible problems.

You'll work directly with C-suite executives to translate quantum theory into commercial applications, shaping the technological landscape for the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for enterprise clients using Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols and optimization algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Lead quantum algorithm design for machine learning, cryptography, and molecular modeling
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications and error thresholds
- Present quantum roadmaps to executive stakeholders and technical boards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Drive innovation through hackathons and industry consortium partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research or building quantum prototypes
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and high-performance computing
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
