Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems for 2026 deployment targets
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with 15+ engineers
- Design error correction protocols for million-qubit processors
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Translate quantum research into commercial IP portfolios
- Mentor quantum engineering talent across 3 global R&D centers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or supercomputing design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Track record of translating quantum theory into practical systems
