Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error correction algorithms to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum solutions with classical computing infrastructure
- Research and prototype novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Create technical documentation and performance benchmarks for quantum systems
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum system architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance principles
- Proven track record of publishing research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Experience leading technical projects with cross-disciplinary teams
