Responsibilities
- Develop and execute horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Translate complex future scenarios into strategic business recommendations for executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-oriented decision-making
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author predictive intelligence reports and scenario-planning whitepapers
- Design and implement innovation roadmaps incorporating exponential technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and researchers in advanced forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with futures research tools and platforms (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio of published future-focused research or thought leadership
