Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology paradigms (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Develop multi-generational strategic roadmaps aligning with company vision and market disruptions
- Partner with product teams to incubate breakthrough innovations and moonshot projects
- Establish global thought leadership through white papers, conferences, and industry panels
- Build and manage a proprietary foresight intelligence network of domain experts
- Quantify future market opportunities through scenario modeling and impact assessments
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and competitive positioning strategies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in technology, economics, or futures studies (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-critical domains (AI ethics, climate tech, bioengineering)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex global systems
