Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and disruptors to forecast 2026+ scenarios across tech, policy, and human behavior
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-state opportunities
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Oversee implementation of pilot projects testing 2026-viable technologies
- Produce visionary whitepapers and thought leadership content
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Planning, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy role
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with horizon scanning and Delphi methodology
