Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps for emerging tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum/AI solutions
- Secure partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global research labs
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and venture capitalists
- Drive patent portfolios in future-facing domains
- Mentor talent in futurism methodologies and ethical tech
- Report directly to the Chief Futurist Officer
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or strategic consulting
- Proven track record scaling moonshot projects ($10M+ budget)
- Expertise in quantum computing, AGI, or climate tech
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures
- Strong network in Silicon Valley research ecosystems
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python preferred)
