Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and market opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future-facing innovations into core offerings
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and stakeholders with compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and regulatory shifts affecting future business landscapes
- Drive organizational culture of innovation and future-readiness through workshops and thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism roles at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful long-term strategic initiatives
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with data analytics tools and strategic frameworks (SWOT, PESTLE, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
