Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026 market potential through patent analytics and horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating breakthrough innovations into enterprise ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and venture capital partners
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Build and maintain a global network of academic, startup, and industry innovation leaders
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech adoption patterns
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies with 7+ years applied experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech commercialization cycles with 2020-2025 innovations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, or climate-tech
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner Hype Cycle, CB Insights, PatentSight)
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level strategies
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 futurist publications
