Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and clean energy sectors
- Identify emerging tech trends and translate them into actionable R&D priorities
- Architect scalable solutions addressing future societal challenges (e.g., climate resilience, human-AI symbiosis)
- Present future-vision frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with global research teams
- Author white papers and thought leadership on 2026 tech paradigms
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent industry breakthroughs)
- 10+ years in emerging tech with 5+ years in strategic foresight roles
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent on future technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum machine learning, neuro-interfaces, fusion energy, or climate modeling
- Experience securing federal/state grants for futuristic R&D
- Portfolio of patented solutions addressing 2030+ challenges
