Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to develop breakthrough technologies for 2026 market readiness
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite to define 5-year technology roadmaps and innovation strategy
- Present futuristic concepts to investors and stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Manage pilot programs for prototype technologies in partnership with industry leaders
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies in long-term technology planning
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology R&D with proven track record of commercializing futuristic solutions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, or quantum computing)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals or conferences
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Strong background in ethical technology governance and responsible innovation
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
