Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology innovation roadmap targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping AI/ML systems and quantum computing applications
- Identify emerging tech trends through competitive analysis and academic partnerships
- Secure patents and intellectual property for proprietary innovations
- Present strategic technology portfolios to C-suite and venture partners
- Maintain $2M+ R&D budget allocation for experimental projects
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation ROI and market adoption rates
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years tech innovation experience
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products post-2020
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized AI
- Strong background in patent development and technology licensing
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $1M annually
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals preferred
