Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for generative AI systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product teams on responsible AI principles
- Conduct forward-looking impact assessments for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces)
- Author industry white papers on AI ethics and regulatory compliance strategies
- Partner with policy advisors to shape 2026+ AI governance legislation
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, policy development, or ethical technology roles
- Published research on AI ethics or technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US frameworks)
- Expertise in risk mitigation for autonomous systems and large language models
- Experience facilitating stakeholder dialogues between technical and non-technical teams
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies for future technology forecasting
