Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and neural networks
- Conduct foresight research on emerging AI applications (2030+ implications)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards in ML pipelines
- Author policy recommendations for regulatory bodies and industry standards
- Lead stakeholder workshops with diverse communities to democratize AI ethics
- Analyze bias mitigation strategies for generative AI models
- Monitor global AI regulatory trends and adapt frameworks accordingly
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience in AI ethics, policy, or responsible tech development
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics)
- Expertise in bias detection/mitigation for machine learning systems
- Strong research methodology with peer-reviewed publication record
- Experience with regulatory processes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
