Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide AI ethics frameworks aligned with NIST, EU AI Act, and future 2026 regulations
- Chair AI Ethics Review Board for high-impact deployments in healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems
- Develop bias mitigation protocols and explainability standards for generative AI models
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations into the ML development lifecycle
- Lead stakeholder engagement with regulators, NGOs, and industry coalitions on AI governance
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and conduct regular impact assessments
- Drive policy innovation for quantum-AI convergence and neuromorphic computing ethics
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or Juris Doctor with AI specialization
- 8+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in global AI regulations (GDPR, NIST RMF, EU AI Act)
- Proven experience implementing ethical AI frameworks in production environments
- Published research on AI ethics or participation in AI ethics standardization bodies
- Strong background in risk management for high-stakes AI applications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
