Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks, governance protocols, and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead audits of AI systems for bias, fairness, transparency, and accountability
- Develop industry standards and best practices for responsible AI deployment
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations into AI development lifecycles
- Represent the organization at global ethics summits and regulatory discussions
- Establish stakeholder engagement programs for diverse community input
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging ethical challenges in AI and biotechnology
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible tech leadership
- Proven track record of developing AI ethics policies for enterprise-scale systems
- Expertise in regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Strong background in machine learning, data science, or AI development
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with cross-cultural ethical frameworks and global diversity standards
