Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, Cognitive Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI ethics research experience
- Published work in top-tier AI ethics journals (e.g., ACM FAccT, NeurIPS Ethics workshops)
- Expertise in algorithmic bias auditing and fairness metrics (e.g., disparate impact, equal opportunity)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python/R) for ethics tool development and data analysis
- Experience working with regulatory bodies on AI policy frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable engineering guidelines
- Strong background in applied ethics with focus on technology's societal impact
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical ethics concepts to diverse stakeholders
