Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and algorithmic impact assessments across ML pipelines
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering and legal teams
- Design responsible AI training programs for 500+ technical staff
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in industry coalitions and regulatory bodies
- Quantify ethical risks using proprietary ethical scoring methodologies
- Partner with UX teams to create explainable AI interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or fairness metrics
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global AI regulatory landscapes
- Proven ability to translate ethical principles into technical requirements
- Experience leading ethics initiatives in Fortune 500 tech companies
- Strong background in causal inference and fairness-aware ML techniques
- Certification in Responsible AI from Stanford/MIT or equivalent
- Exceptional stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
