Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for multi-modal data processing
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neural-symbolic integration
- Develop ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype production-ready AI solutions
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (NeurIPS, ICML, Nature AI) and present at global conferences
- Secure patents for breakthrough AI methodologies with commercial applications
- Mentor junior researchers and establish industry-wide best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years developing production-level AI systems with proven impact metrics
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and MLOps
- Published research in top-tier AI/ML conferences with >500 citations
- Proficiency with PyTorch/TensorFlow and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into commercial applications
- Strong background in AI ethics and bias mitigation strategies
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA)
