Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel neural architectures for next-generation AI systems
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum-enhanced machine learning
- Develop ethical AI frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers and guide technical strategy for 2026 product roadmap
- Secure $5M+ in federal and corporate research grants
- Architect MLOps pipelines for scalable AI deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years of applied research in deep learning or quantum computing
- Published work at NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR or equivalent tier
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks
- Proven track record of translating research into production systems
- Strong background in ethical AI governance and bias mitigation
- Experience securing government research grants (NSF/DARPA preferred)
