Responsibilities
- Design and implement perception systems using LiDAR, radar, and camera fusion technologies
- Develop real-time decision-making algorithms for complex urban driving scenarios
- Optimize machine learning models for object detection and path prediction
- Conduct simulation testing and validation of autonomous driving behaviors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software systems
- Document technical specifications and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging autonomous vehicle regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in autonomous systems or perception algorithm development
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Expertise in sensor fusion and computer vision techniques
- Strong background in machine learning (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Experience with real-time embedded systems and automotive safety standards
- Portfolio of autonomous vehicle projects or published research
