Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced perception systems using LiDAR, radar, and camera fusion technologies
- Develop real-time decision-making algorithms for complex urban and highway scenarios
- Optimize sensor fusion frameworks for accuracy and computational efficiency
- Collaborate with simulation engineers to validate system performance in virtual environments
- Create robust fail-safe mechanisms and redundancy protocols for mission-critical operations
- Lead integration of AI/ML models into autonomous driving control systems
- Document technical specifications and conduct peer reviews of system designs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in autonomous vehicle systems or embedded systems development
- Expertise in C++ and Python with strong software architecture skills
- Deep understanding of sensor fusion, computer vision, and SLAM algorithms
- Experience with real-time operating systems and low-latency processing
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262) and functional safety principles
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with large-scale codebases
- Portfolio demonstrating contributions to autonomous systems or robotics projects
