Responsibilities
- Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from Oakland residents
- Resolve service issues using CRM systems and internal knowledge bases
- Document interactions accurately in compliance with data protection standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex customer needs
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to enhance service awareness
- Maintain performance metrics including resolution rates and customer satisfaction scores
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1+ years customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, Zendesk) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish highly valued
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining composure
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional field visits)
