Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Assist users with account access, password resets, and network connectivity problems.
- Log and document all help desk tickets and interactions in our ticketing system.
- Maintain IT inventory and ensure office equipment is in good working order.
- Educate users on best practices for computer security and software usage.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate complex issues effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of computer components (CPU, RAM, hard drives).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable internet connection and a willingness to learn new technologies.
