Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital sign checks and EKGs
- Manage patient documentation and electronic health records
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Administer injections and collect specimens under supervision
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Flexible schedule availability including Saturdays and Sundays
