Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and EKG procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations, injections, and specimen collection
- Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain organized clinical environments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on patient care experience
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Saturdays/Sundays) with rotating schedules
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Valid CPR certification and BLS certification
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
